Funding

Care provided by Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island is paid for by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurers and through donations.

HHCRI has been supported for more than 36 years by generous donations (in the form of cash gifts, memorial funds, grants, and matching contribution programs) from many who have been touched by our services.

Donations cover the difference between the cost of services and reimbursement, which has not kept up with the cost of medications, equipment, and other items we use in providing quality care.
